Fans noticed Davido’s been looking fresh since he started gym. One user wrote: _“Abi nah only me notice since e don start gym e don Dey fresh”_. DJ Tunez, Wizkid’s official DJ, apparently had something to say about Davido’s gym clothes. That set Davido off.
Davido fired back with a series of posts aimed at Tunez:
– _“LEAVE ME ALONE”_, _“STEEZE GONE FOREVER”_, _“Until u collect again.”_
– _“Ur just a disgusting nasty fellow… DEM USE BOOT CARRY UR STEEZE FOREVER.. idiot”_
– _“E wa woo! look he’s on the floor 😭🥾.”_
– _“Look who’s on the floor”_
Right after, Davido _“reshared a video showing Burna Boy reacting to DJ Tunez’s viral moment linked to the phrase ‘Ogbafia dey for ground’”_.
This all traces back to an alleged club fight at Obi’s House, Lagos around April 6, 2026. Reports claim Burna Boy’s team confronted DJ Tunez for _“repeatedly playing Wizkid’s songs without mixing in Burna Boy’s tracks”_. The argument escalated, _“leaving DJ Tunez on the floor”_.
Burna then posted a 1:35am towel video dancing to DJ Tunez’s song, saying _“Lagos, Lagos. Ogbafia dey for ground”_ before dropping to the floor — _“a direct mockery of DJ Tunez”_. Carter Efe had mocked Tunez the same way.
So Davido’s _“look he’s on the floor”_ and _“DEM USE BOOT CARRY UR STEEZE”_ are referencing that same incident.
DJ Tunez clapped back on X: _“THIS NIQGA BURNA BOY! ALL SIGNS OF WEAKNESS!”_. The Nigerian DJ Association even announced a temporary boycott of Burna Boy’s music over the _“assault”.
Meanwhile, an old Davido interview resurfaced where he said people _“make him look like the bad guy whenever a fight breaks out among the top three artists”.
