Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani is advising Nigerians and other Africans with revoked US visas to return home immediately to avoid arrest by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He emphasized that no matter how comfortable life may be abroad, it’s not their home, and they will eventually be reminded of that.
The US State Department has revoked over 80,000 visas since January 2025, including 16,000 linked to drunk driving, 12,000 for assault, and 8,000 student visas. Other reasons for revocation include terrorist support, criminal activity, and visa overstays.
