Nigeria police have been actively arresting cultists across various states. Recently, they arrested 32 suspected cultists and a gunrunner in Benue State following an intelligence tip. In another incident, 16 cultists were arrested in Anambra State for their involvement in cult-related killings in Awka. The police have also been cracking down on cultism in Lagos, Ogun, and Rivers States, with several arrests and recoveries of weapons.
