Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has signed into law the N695 billion supplementary budget, bringing the total budget size for 2025 to N1.65 trillion. The budget includes N125.66 billion for recurrent expenditure and N569.33 billion for capital expenditure. Governor Eno emphasized his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and people-centered governance, releasing N60 billion to contractors with ready Interim Payment Certificates to accelerate project execution.
