The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Federal Operations Unit, Zone ‘B’, Kaduna, has intercepted cannabis worth N48.5 million and other contraband valued at N220 million. The seizure was made on August 21 along the Kaduna-Zaria Expressway. The contraband included foreign parboiled rice, premium motor spirit, second-hand clothes, spaghetti, used tyres, and electric shockers. A suspect was arrested and handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further investigation and prosecution.
