The signing took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja around 5 p.m., with principal officers of the National Assembly present. The new law introduces adjustments aimed at strengthening transparency, improving logistics, and addressing gaps from previous cycles, while allowing electronic transmission of results with manual backups where needed.
