Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello has confirmed that 100 people d+ed during a U.S. led operation aimed at removing President Nicolas Maduro from power. While Caracas had not previously provided an official figure for those k+lled, the Venezuelan army released a partial list identifying 23 of its fallen personnel
Officials said that a large portion of Maduro’s security team was executed “in cold bl%%d” during the raid highlighting the scale & vi%lence of the att@ck. Cuba also reported that 32 of its military & intelligence personnel operating in Venezuela were among the casualties, underscoring the international dimension of the operation.
Cabello described the inj¥ries sustained by Venezuela’s leadership during the att@ck, revealing that Maduro’s wife, Cilia Flores, who was detained alongside him, s¥ffered a head inj¥ry, while the president sustained an inj¥ry to his leg.
Despite the severity of the att@ck, Cabello emphasized that Maduro continues to carry out his duties as president, saying that regardless of ideological differences, he remains committed to leading the nation.
In response to the raid, Venezuela’s interim President Delcy Rodriguez, whom Cabello lauded as “courageous” during his weekly televised show, declared a week of national mourning to honor members of the military who lost their lives.
