Ex-NIWA MD Oyebamiji emerges Osun APC gov candidate

Bola Oyebamiji, former Managing Director of Nigeria Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State. He was affirmed by 1,660 delegates after being nominated by Kunle Adegoke, SAN, and seconded by Senator Babajide Omoworare.

Oyebamiji’s emergence follows a consensus agreement among APC aspirants, backed by President Bola Tinubu. Other aspirants, including Senator Iyiola Omisore, have pledged support for Oyebamiji’s candidacy.
