Stanley Ontop, the moviemaker and social commentator, has been arrested and detained in Delta State. He was taken into custody by the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCID) in Asaba on Tuesday, December 9, following a petition from a female, reportedly actress Queeneth Hilbert.
Friends and associates are calling for his release, questioning why he was detained instead of being charged in court. Queeneth Hilbert hasn’t made an official statement, and the Delta State Police haven’t clarified the grounds for his arrest.
This isn’t Stanley Ontop’s first controversy; he’s known for speaking out on industry issues and has been involved in online disputes with other celebrities.
