The Lagos State Government has announced a traffic diversion plan for the 2025 Capital City Race happening tomorrow, Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. The 10km race starts at Ikeja Shopping Mall and passes through Billings Way, Kudirat Abiola Way, Opebi Link Bridge, Adeniyi Jones, and Oba Akran, ending at Archbishop Vining Memorial Church on Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja.

Traffic Management:
Security personnel from the Nigerian Police Force, Federal Road Safety Corps, and Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) will be deployed to manage traffic and ensure safety. Roads will be partially closed and opened intermittently as the race progresses.
