LAUTECH has shut its campus following the death of a student in a road accident. The student, a 300-level Agricultural Engineering student named Ridwan Oladipupo, died under mysterious circumstances off-campus. The university is working with the police to investigate the incident.
In a separate incident, two LAUTECH students and a driver were killed in an auto accident while returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State. The accident was caused by speed limit violation and loss of control, resulting in the vehicle catching fire.
