Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) to support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasizing unity, inclusion, and northern development. He highlighted the administration’s focus on education, agriculture, industrialization, and security as key pillars for northern revival.
Shettima assured northern leaders they’re integral to the Tinubu-led government and encouraged them to resist divisive forces. He noted progress in security, with neutralized bandit leaders and restored stability in some areas, and emphasized economic empowerment through large-scale commercial farming and vocational training.
The ACF plans to launch an endowment fund for socio-economic development in the northern region, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda’s goals. Shettima stressed that every group, faith, and tribe has a voice in national issues under Tinubu’s administration, promoting inclusivity and unity.
