The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has dismissed reports alleging that he suffered a heart attack.
Speaking during a project commissioning in Abuja today, Wike mocked those behind the rumours, stating:
“I hear they said I had a heart attack. May God continue to give them the heart attack instead. My prayer is that one day I will be the one signing their condolences.”
He further added that soon he would write letters consoling those spreading false news, stressing that life and death are ultimately in God’s hands.
