The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced temporary power outages in parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) due to road construction along the Kuje axis. The outages will occur in three phases:
– Phase 1: October 28 – November 2, 2025 (9am – 5pm daily)
– Phase 2: November 6 – 9, 2025 (9am – 5pm daily)
– Phase 3: November 12 – 16, 2025 (9am – 3pm daily)
Affected areas include Apo, Lokogoma, Guzape, Asokoro, Wuye, Utako, Jabi, and Idu Industrial Layout. Power will be restored at the end of each workday. This is to ensure safety during the construction project, which will affect the 132kV Gwagwalada-Kukwaba-Apo transmission line.
