Governor Agbu Kefas has signed into law a N128.58 billion supplementary budget for the 2025 fiscal year, alongside a N47.12 billion virement earlier approved by the Taraba State House of Assembly.

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has signed into law a ₦143.42 billion supplementary budget for 2025, along with a ₦14.68 billion virement approved by the State House of Assembly. This brings Taraba’s total 2025 budget to ₦574.8 billion, focusing on security, infrastructure, and economic development. The budget aims to address inflation and exchange rate pressures on ongoing projects, with capital expenditure accounting for 68.9% and recurrent spending 31.1%. Implementation will run until May 31, 2026, with an emphasis on transparency and accountability.
