Abuja is set to undergo a massive transformation under the leadership of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike. According to Wike, Abuja will rival global cities before President Bola Tinubu’s tenure ends in 2027. This ambitious plan is part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to develop the city’s infrastructure, healthcare, education, and youth empowerment.

Key Projects:

– Solomon Lar Way: A major road project connecting Obafemi Awolowo Way to the Airport Expressway
– Mabushi Roads: Access roads ILS 02 and ILS 03 (Timipre Sylva Street)
– Judges’ Quarters: Official residences for heads of the Court of Appeal, Federal High Court, FCT High Court, and National Industrial Court
– Karsana West Development: Full development of the area
– Second Abuja Airport Runway: A new runway to enhance air travel infrastructure

Wike emphasized that no sector will be left untouched in the development drive, with a focus on:
– Infrastructure: Roads, bridges, and public transportation
– Healthcare: Upgrading medical facilities and services
– Education: Improving schools and educational institutions
– Youth Empowerment: Providing opportunities for young people to grow and develop

The minister assured residents that the government is committed to delivering on its promises, with a focus on transparency and accountability.
