Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has indeed warned his appointees that they’ll be fired if caught engaging in corruption. He emphasized his administration’s zero-tolerance policy for bribery and corruption, stating that no one will be spared if found guilty. This warning comes two weeks after six officials in the Ministry of Justice were sacked for alleged salary padding.

Governor Otti made it clear that his administration will not tolerate any form of corruption or bribery.
He emphasized that appointments and recruitments will be based on merit, citing the recent employment of 5,394 teachers without any bribery or favoritism.
Appointees will be held accountable for their actions, and those found guilty of corruption will face consequences without exceptions or pleas.
