Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Tems is set to perform live at the 2026 BET Awards on Sunday, June 28 at 8 PM ET/PT from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
She’s part of the first wave of performers announced by BET, joining Cardi B, Doechii, Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Kehlani, Rick Ross, Common, Don Toliver, French Montana & Max B, T.I., The War and Treaty, and kwn. Druski will host the show, making him the youngest host in BET Awards history.
Tems is also the most nominated African artist this year with 3 nods: Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, BET Her Award for “First”, and Viewers’ Choice Award for “Raindance” with Dave. Wizkid + Asake got a joint Best Group nom, and Burna Boy is up for Best Collaboration for “WGFT” with Gunna.
This performance adds another big moment to her global run. Afrobeats + R&B on culture’s biggest night.
