The Osun State Government has launched Imole Wi-Fi, a free public internet service designed to expand digital access for residents, students, businesses, and communities across the state. This initiative aims to increase opportunities in education, health, agriculture, commerce, and other sectors.

The service is currently available at key government buildings and public spaces, including the Osun State Library, Alphastart Hub, Osun Mall, Salvation Army Middle School, Osogbo Grammar School, and Ministry of Innovation, Science, Technology, and Digital Economy sites. The government plans to extend the service to additional locations over time, ensuring broader digital inclusion and stimulating growth in various sectors.

Imole Wi-Fi is expected to boost education, employment, healthcare, and community safety while positioning Osun State as a hub for digital innovation. Governor Ademola Adeleke described Imole Wi-Fi as a “gateway to opportunity” that will cut barriers, connect people, and drive growth across every sector of Osun’s economy. The government envisions this as the first step in a broader digital transformation, with more services and tools to follow.
