If someone bētrayed you in the past, they typically return for more. You don’t know what pushed them the first time, don’t trust them again. You must never forget the evíl that was done to you. Even the body keeps a record of what it has been through, that’s why we have scārs.

Always keep records. Forgiveness doesn’t mean you should forget. Yes, people change, but history doesn’t, a leopard doesn’t wash off it’s spots. Don’t give them another chance because they apologized, they will do it again, and you may not survíve the next one.
