A female NYSC member, Jennifer Elobor, was brutally assaulted and stripped naked by operatives of the Agunechemba Vigilante Group in Anambra State. The incident sparked widespread outrage after a video went viral. Despite presenting valid NYSC identification, Elobor and her colleagues were accused of being internet fraudsters. The Anambra State Government has condemned the incident, dismissed eight vigilante operatives involved, settled Elobor’s medical bills, and tendered a public apology. The police investigation is temporarily stalled due to Elobor’s unavailability, while the Haven360 Foundation demands justice, reparations, and compensation for Elobor.
