The Dangote Group has released a statement regarding the death of Ruth Otabor, sister of Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner Phyna. According to the statement, Ruth passed away on August 31, 2025, after being involved in a road accident with one of the company’s trucks in Auchi, Edo State, on August 13, 2025.
