The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has increased the cost of acquiring a Nigerian international passport. The new fees are N100,000 for a 32-page passport with 5-year validity and N200,000 for a 64-page passport with 10-year validity. The increment takes effect from September 1, 2025. The fee increase applies to passport applications made within Nigeria, while Nigerians in the diaspora will continue to pay $150 and $230 for the respective passports.
