The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has confirmed that the “Stage 4 cancer” report shared by Blessing CEO is fake. The report, which was supposed to be Blessing CEO’s medical result, actually belongs to another patient, Mbara Deborah, who is a cancer survivor and makeup artist. Deborah had shared her medical report with Blessing CEO, thinking she was helping her compare results, but instead, Blessing CEO altered it and used it to solicit donations from the public.
The NMA has stated that the original report was issued by Xinus Medical Diagnostics in Asaba, Delta State, and was meant for Mbara Deborah. The association has called on authorities to investigate the matter and take necessary actions to protect the public from being misled.
