Dangote Petroleum has launched a nationwide hotline, 0800 123 5264, for Nigerians to report MRS stations selling Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) above the approved price of N739 per litre. This move aims to ensure transparency, affordability, and consumer protection in the downstream petroleum market. The refinery encourages Nigerians to report any MRS station selling above the approved price, promising to take action against unscrupulous operators creating artificial scarcity.
The hotline is part of Dangote Refinery’s efforts to stabilize fuel prices and ease the financial burden on Nigerians, especially during the festive season. With over 2,000 MRS stations nationwide, the refinery expects the new pricing to be implemented across all outlets, benefiting consumers nationwide.
