Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has appointed Obi Cubana as the South-East Regional Director of the City Boy Movement, a youth-led pro-Tinubu group. The appointment was made official when Seyi presented Obi Cubana with an appointment letter at his residence, accompanied by a ceremonial handshake and a rendition of President Tinubu’s campaign anthem, “On Your Mandate We Shall Stand”.
Obi Cubana expressed his commitment to the role, stating that he would prioritize inclusivity and community growth, while maintaining his integrity and leadership principles. He also emphasized the importance of constructive engagement and respect for differing opinions.
The City Boy Movement aims to mobilize, educate, and empower young Nigerians and women in support of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Obi Cubana’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the movement’s grassroots presence in the South-East region.
