Hilda Baci has indeed broken another Guinness World Record, this time for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, weighing an impressive 8,780 kilograms (19,356 lb 9 oz). She achieved this feat in partnership with Gino at Victoria Island, Lagos, and received confirmation from Guinness World Records on January 17, 2026.
The event, which drew thousands of spectators, including celebrities and food lovers, showcased Hilda’s culinary skills and put Nigerian cuisine on the global map. She used 4,000 kg of washed basmati rice, 164 kg of fresh goat meat, and other ingredients to prepare the massive dish.
