Juma Jux has taken home the Best Male Artist award for Eastern Africa at the 9th All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held in Lagos. The Tanzanian artist beat out other talented nominees, including Diamond Platnumz and Marioo, to claim the top spot .
This win highlights Juma Jux’s growing influence in the African music scene. Rema, a Nigerian artist, also dominated the night, winning three major awards, including Artiste of the Year, Best Male Artiste in Western Africa, and Best African Artiste in R&B and Soul.
