Asake expressed his devastation on Instagram, saying, “My heart goes out to the family, friends, and loved ones of Karen Lojore… Those responsible should be held accountable”.
The concert, part of Asake’s Africa tour, was co-headlined by Gabzy. Investigations are underway to determine what went wrong, with Kenyan police describing the incident as “very unfortunate”. Asake has pledged to support efforts to understand the incident and has called for accountability.
