Barrister Deji Adeyanju has secured the release of Seun Churlah, also known as “Banger Boy”, who was arrested by Alabi Lawrence for allegedly cyberbullying and making defamatory posts about his wife. The arrest sparked controversy, with some Nigerians criticizing Alabi for publicly humiliating Seun Churlah. Tacha, a BBNaija star, condemned the humiliation, saying “Sue the boy; I don’t care. But what you won’t do is humiliate him”.
Seun Churlah’s parents are reportedly traumatized by the situation. Adeyanju’s involvement led to his release, highlighting the ongoing debate about online harassment, accountability, and responsible social media use.
