Kobe Adeleke-Hokes, Davido’s nephew, has officially signed with Wake Forest University’s football team! He’s a wide receiver from Peachtree Ridge High School in Georgia, standing at 5-11 and weighing 185 pounds.
Adeleke-Hokes had a stellar high school career, catching 35 passes for 547 yards and 3 touchdowns in his senior season. He chose Wake Forest over offers from Georgia Southern, Minnesota, Arkansas State, and others.
Davido couldn’t be prouder, sharing his excitement on social media: “I can cry”. Kobe’s family, including Sina, Tunji, and Adewale Adeleke, also celebrated this milestone.
Wake Forest’s head coach, Jake Dickert, praised Kobe’s skills, adding to a strong 2026 class with 30 recruits. This signing is part of Wake Forest’s largest recruiting class in history.
