Peter Okoye, aka Mr P, is reacting to reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has no evidence to support his allegations against his brothers, Jude and Paul Okoye, regarding the fraudulent withdrawal of $800,000 from their company account.
The EFCC counsel, Mohammed Bashir, stated in court that they couldn’t provide evidence for the alleged withdrawal, saying, “We do not have it. It is his evidence. Let him prove it. I can’t give what I don’t have.”
Peter had accused his brothers of diverting P-Square funds, operating 47 undeclared bank accounts, and manipulating the shareholding structure of Northside Entertainment Ltd. However, the EFCC’s stance has sparked controversy, with Peter’s claims being challenged in court.
