Nollywood veteran Patrick Doyle has stated that his surname played a significant role in opening doors for his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle. Speaking during an appearance on Wake Up Nigeria, the veteran broadcaster expressed pride in her accomplishments, noting that he would avoid responding to any questions that might lead him to speak negatively about her.
Patrick also emphasized the value of the Doyle name, adding that Ireti has upheld it with dignity.
“I’m happy for her that the Doyle name has opened doors for her. And so far hasn’t disgraced the Doyle name. She’s doing pretty well, and I am proud of her achievements in the industry,” he said.
The actor’s remarks come amid ongoing discussions about their relationship and Ireti’s continued use of the Doyle surname.
