Superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo expresses his gratitude to President Trump for inviting him and his future wife, Georgina Rodriguez, to the White House.

Cristiano Ronaldo recently met with President Donald Trump at the White House, expressing his gratitude for the invitation. He was accompanied by his fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez, and the meeting was part of a larger event hosted by Trump for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Ronaldo had previously expressed his admiration for Trump, stating that he wanted to meet him because he’s “one of the guys who can help change the world”. The two shared laughs and posed for photos, with Trump praising Ronaldo’s son, Barron, for being a fan of the football star.

As a gesture of appreciation, Ronaldo gifted Trump a signed Portugal jersey with the message “Playing for peace”. This wasn’t the first time Ronaldo had sent a gift to Trump; he previously sent a similar jersey to the White House in June 2025, which was presented by European Council President António Costa during the G7 Summit.
