The Lagos State Government is shutting down parts of the Lekki-Ajah corridor for *8 months* (Nov 15, 2025 – July 15, 2026) to fix the traffic nightmare. Here’s the lowdown:

Details of the Closure
– Phases:
    – Phase 1: Lekki 1st Toll Gate → Lekki 2nd Toll Gate (7 sections)
        – One lane closed, the other open. Switches once the first lane is done.
        – Ajah → Lekki traffic diverted to one lane.
        – Lekki → Ajah traffic remains open.
    – Phase 2: Lekki 2nd Toll Gate → Ajah Under-Bridge (4 sections)
– Start Date: Nov 15, 2025
– Why? To improve road quality and reduce congestion.
