Senate President Godswill Akpabio has said that he never made any comment against U.S. President Donald Trump following the recent reports of an alleged military action thr3at.

In a statement issued today, Akpabio described the circulating report as completely false and mischievous, saying it was fabricated by an unknown individual attempting to cause trouble for him.

He confirmed that petitions have been submitted to the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate and identify the person behind the fake publication.

“Who am I to respond to President Trump?” Akpabio said, stressing that he has great respect for the U.S. President and would never issue any statement of that nature.

The Senate President urged the public to disregard the report, calling it a deliberate attempt to mislead Nigerians and damage his reputation.
