The Dangote Refinery has re-employed and redeployed engineers dismissed during a dispute with PENGASSAN to various projects across Nigeria, including:
– Coal Mining: Benue State
– Concrete Road Construction: Borno and Ebonyi States
– Rice Processing: Kebbi, Niger, Sokoto, and Zamfara States
These engineers, some still on graduate trainee status, will undergo two years of training in construction, commissioning, and operations. The redeployment follows federal government intervention, with President Bola Tinubu pledging support for the refinery’s expansion to 1.4 million barrels per day.
