NEMA receives 147 stranded Nigerians 🇳🇬 from Libya.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has received 147 stranded Nigerians from Libya, arriving at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on October 21, 2025. The returnees, comprising 100 adults (32 males, 68 females), 34 children (18 males, 16 females), and 13 infants (5 males, 8 females), were provided with food, water, medical care, and counseling. This operation is part of the Assisted Voluntary Return initiative, supported by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the Federal Government, aiming to ensure safe and dignified returns for stranded citizens.
