The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has launched an electronic platform to digitize the processing of drug integrity tests and visa clearance certificates nationwide.
The new system, called the Drug Integrity Test and Visa E-Administration System (DITViCAS), was introduced on Tuesday, October 21, in Abuja. It is designed to automate certificate issuance, reduce human interference, and improve efficiency in the agency’s operations.
NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), described the initiative as a major shift in the fight against substance abuse and drug trafficking.
According to the agency, the portal replaces the manual clearance process that required physical visits and lengthy verification procedures.
