Wike emphasized that this initiative is not a personal decision but a law passed as part of the 2024 national budget, and his role is to oversee its implementation.
The housing project aims to address the issue of judges living in rented apartments, which makes them vulnerable to political manipulation. Wike assured that the project will be completed, and no FCT judge will be living in a rented apartment by 2027.
