Actress Adunni Ade has won a N20 million defamation lawsuit against Polace Media Limited, publishers of (link unavailable), over a false report linking her romantically to Senator Dino Melaye.

Adunni Ade sued Polace Media Limited for N100 million, accusing them of invasion of privacy and defamation, after they listed her among six popular Nigerian celebrities allegedly dating Senator Dino Melaye.

The court ruled in Adunni Ade’s favor, ordering Polace Media Limited to pay her N20 million in damages. The judge found that the publication was false and had damaged Adunni Ade’s reputation.

Adunni Ade celebrated her victory on Instagram, thanking the Nigerian court of law and her lawyer, Olumide Babalola, for securing justice. She also warned others who spread lies about her, stating that she has a few more cases pending.
