President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Imo State for a one-day working visit, landing at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport in Owerri at 12:52 p.m. today. He was warmly received by Governor Hope Uzodimma, other governors, traditional rulers, and top government officials.

– Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia Federal Road: A 60-kilometer dual carriageway aimed at improving transportation and boosting economic activity.
– Assumpta Flyover: A strategic connector for traffic heading towards Port Harcourt and Onitsha.
– Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre: A state-of-the-art facility designed to host large-scale conferences and events.
– Imo Concorde Hilton Hotel: A landmark project reflecting the administration’s focus on modernization and development.
– Imo Digital Learning Centre: A facility aimed at enhancing education and digital literacy.
– Book Launch: The President will also attend the public presentation of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s book, “A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria,” which highlights the achievements of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the past decade.
Security Measures:
The Imo State Police Command has deployed water-tight security measures to ensure a smooth and safe event. Security personnel have been strategically positioned along the route from the airport to the city, and residents have been urged to report any suspicious activities.
