Rwandan gospel singer Gloriose Musabyimana, known as Gogo, passed away in Kampala, Uganda, on September 3, 2025, at 36. She died shortly after arrival at Kyegera Doctors Center, following a sudden illness that worsened rapidly. Gogo had been touring Uganda for gospel events, including a performance at Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s church. Her manager, Bikem wa Yesu, confirmed the news, expressing shock and sadness.

Gogo was celebrated for her powerful worship songs and social media presence, where she shared messages of hope and faith. Her hit tracks, such as “Every Day, I Need Blood of Jesus” and “Uwo Mwana,” had gained widespread popularity. Born in 1989 in Rwamagana, Rwanda, Gogo grew up in the Anglican Church and lost both parents at a young age, yet inspired many through her music and ministry.
