Anas Yusuf, a 21-year-old player from Nasarawa United, has emerged as the top scorer in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) with 18 goals. He finished the 2024/25 season five goals ahead of his nearest rivals, Rabiu Ali of Kano Pillars and Sunday Megwo of Abia Warriors, who both scored 13 goals. Anas Yusuf’s impressive performance earned him the Golden Boot award and a N2 million reward from the NPFL.
