A 19-year-old APC candidate, Aaue Samuel Olubari, has won a councillorship seat in Rivers State, specifically in Bangha Ward 7 of Khana Local Government Area.
The APC performed well in the elections, winning 20 out of 23 local government areas. However, the Action Peoples Party (APP) dominated the chairmanship positions, securing 22 out of 23 seats, and also won 314 councillorship seats across various local government areas.
Olubari’s win marks a significant achievement for the young candidate, making her the youngest councillor in Rivers State.
