Nigerian-American actor Rotimi has revealed why his wife, Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee, walked away from music.
In an interview, he disclosed that Mdee was often approached with offers to practise w!tchcr@ft to rise in the industry.
“She has been approached to practice it to advance to the next level. Witchcr@ft, v00d00, all of that is a real thing,” Rotimi said.
He added that the pressures of the industry also took a t0ll on her mental health. “She got to a point where she was like I have to drink to get out of my head. Liqu0r brought depr£ssi0n… I love music, but I h@t£ the business. I can’t do it anymore.”
