Ikeja Magistrate Court in Lagos has discharged Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger accused of unruly behavior and assault.The police prosecutor informed the court that Ibom Air and the complainant were no longer interested in pursuing the matter, citing instructions from the police authorities. Magistrate Olanrewaju Salami granted the request, striking out the five-count charge against Emmanson.Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo directed Ibom Air to withdraw its complaint against Emmanson after she exhibited remorse. The court discharged Emmanson following the withdrawal of the case.
