The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has declared Abuja as the safest city in Nigeria.

Speaking during 65th Independence day anniversary, Wike credited the improved security in the nation’s capital to the efforts of security agencies and the renewed strategies put in place by the FCT Administration.

According to him, the government remains committed to sustaining peace and security in the city, ensuring that residents and visitors feel protected at all times.

Wike emphasized that Abuja’s current safety status makes it a model for other parts of the country to emulate.
