Kano governor reshuffles cabinet, moves attorney general to transport ministry

– Attorney General’s New Role: Haruna Dederi will now head the Ministry of Transport, a significant shift from his role as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
– Solicitor General’s Redeployment: Mustapha Muhammad, the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Environment as Permanent Secretary.
– Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs: The Commissioner will return to his substantive role after overseeing the Ministry of Transport in an acting capacity.

– Teacher Appointments: Governor Yusuf recently presented appointment letters to 4,315 former volunteer teachers, bringing the total number of teachers recruited under his administration to over 15,000.
