Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has denied imposing new visa restrictions on Nigerian passport holders. Nigerians can visit Qatar with proper documentation, which includes acquiring an electronic travel authorization (eTA or eVisa) prior to entry. The requirements include a valid passport with at least six months’ validity, a passport-style photo, and supporting documents. The eVisa is valid for single entry and allows a maximum stay of 30 days. Nigerians can apply for the eVisa online through the official portal, and the processing time typically takes a few days to a week.
